Good news for those of you that like to 'haunt' cemeteries. We have just received a new book which will be on our shelf just as soon as we get it catalogued.

It is "Steuben County Cemeteries, Good, Bad and Gone" composed by Helen Kelly Brink and "Cricket"and published by Penny Lane Printing, Avon NY.

It is full of pictures of our older and forgotten cemeteries, directions to get there, indications of the condition and whether it is still actively being used or inactive.

I found my family name in one of the Howard, NY cemeteries that I didn't even know existed. All in all, a wonderful book to browse through and to make good use of.
